Field Trip Health was a Toronto company that opened what it called a “first of its kind” psychedelic-enhanced psychotherapy clinic at 30 Duncan Street on 4 March 2020, starting with ketamine (Field Trip release, 2020). Its 2022 annual information form says it went on to trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange and Nasdaq, run twelve clinics, and open a psilocybin mushroom research facility in Jamaica on 9 February 2021 (Annual information form, 2022).
The company split in two on 11 August 2022, separating its drug-development arm, Reunion Neuroscience, from its clinics (Form 8-K12G3). The clinic company was granted creditor protection under the CCAA by the Ontario Superior Court on 22 March 2023, with PwC as monitor, and its clinics were sold (Monitor’s page).
Its story is business history, not evidence about whether ketamine or psilocybin therapy works. Labels such as “first of its kind” and “world’s first” are the company’s own. The site does not recommend any clinic or treatment, and nothing here is investment advice.
